The first beer I ever fell in love with was Rolling Rock.

Not the version you’ll find in stores today, but the original brewed in Latrobe, PA, before the 2006 Anheuser-Busch acquisition. It had a slightly fuller flavor—never too bitter or sweet—that made it stand out among mass-produced lagers. The marketing didn’t hurt either: the cryptic “33” stamped on those unmistakable green bottles made the whole thing feel like a mystery worth solving.

Green bottles haven’t exactly been trending in the craft beer aisle, but a few brewers still keep the tradition alive. That’s why I didn’t expect Tree House Brewing, of all places, to be the ones stepping up and carrying the torch.

Speaking of unexpected traditions, I’ve been hooked lately on a TikTok/Twitter account called Could Be The Move (CBTM). The guy behind it highlights small, often overlooked opportunities in life—things that most people wouldn’t think twice about—and makes the case for why they could be the move. Examples? Waking up earlier than your dad on vacation. Keeping a paperback book in your back pocket. Ordering Domino’s “for here.” Each one, subtle and oddly satisfying. Just like green bottles, maybe. Could be the move. Let’s dig in.
