Last week I published some perspective on the Great American Beer Festival focused around counter-points to the common reasons NOT to attend. The following is a less coherent running diary of reactions to my two-and-a-half days Denver. Enjoy.
I visited Pittsburgh last month to take in a Pirates game on my way to dropping my kid off at college in Philly. Head Hunter was on my "gotta find this" list so I was very happy to see Fat Heads had a stand PNC Park. Head Hunter was everything I hoped it would be. It's everything I want out an IPA.
I went to the home opener in Pittsburgh, then back again for a game in August, had a Head Hunter each time. Good bang for the buck with ballpark prices and all...
Another well put post. Agreed with the shout out of Cohesion. They are my go-to spot because everyone now goes to Bierstadt...always. I still make my Bierstadt visit, but visited Cohesion twice this trip. Also agree on the vendors. We had a couple people there, but it was to support our partners and hopefully talk shop outside of the fest with folks. More important to be seen than be heard at GABF. That's why we went with the sponsorships but still having some faces on the floor.
Jealous of that Saturday night...would have loved to be around just to hear that group chat it up, even if my mouth of duct taped. Haha
great write up.

PNC was a bucket list ballpark for me to visit. It was a gorgeous stadium. I can’t wait to go back.

First time GABF attendee and can't wait for the next one! The panels were worth the price of the ticket alone and the beer was delicious!
