Can you explain who and for what experience a 19.2 oz single is for? I see them - now including zombie dust - at the grocery or c-store and genuinely don’t understand who is buying those ( or Anti Hero or SNPA) and why. This excludes the obvious alcohol units per $$ play.

The way a lot of people shop is to buy just the beer that they want to drink that day or night. So they'll buy 1, maybe 2 19.2s after their shift to get the exact amount they want and spend as little money as possible. This is why you almost always see them Cold, and not warm on a shelf. Sometimes they're traveling somewhere, like to a friends house, on train commuting home after work, etc. As a result, you'll often see 2 for $5 deals, or nowadays more commonly 2 for $6 deals trying to increase sales. But you almost never see 3 for $X or 4 for $X. The consumer who purchases this way probably isn't instagramming their beers, checking them into Untappd, nor participating in beer forums as much. They're a little more of a mystery, but probably like the buzz and flavor you get for your $ from an IPA more so than a Light Lager.

Thanks for the reply, interesting. I feel like you looked at my untappd before responding 😂. So I won’t tell those folks to buy a Rochefort 10 instead like I always want to.
